Review by Rick for Perks Café

Some of these reviews must be old because I can honestly say that Perks has one of the best breakfast's in town. Based on previous reviews I was expecting 20% to be added to my bill for service, but when I read the menu I saw that it was only for parties of 6 or more (which is typical for almost all restaurants at the Jersey Shore--even NYC where I'm from!) My table of four had nothing added to our bill. Although you may pay an extra dollar or two compared to most places, its definitely worth it. The food is fresh, the place is clean, the service is friendly and the portions are HUGE Our server was very friendly and our food came out quick even though the restaurant was packed. Overall, definitely visit Perks if you're visiting Point Pleasant--we'll be back all summer long!
