Review by Not fat, just food experienced.... for Brick Oven

Went there after a good nudge by a friend whom informed me the old owner sold to a new guy named Jack. Let me tell you......I am absolutely 100% addicted. The pizza--bar none is the best in Brick. A true wood fired brick oven. In and out in 3 minutes.....and to die for. The food--overly generous portions that are nit the average "dishes" you would expect, but nit gourmet and fancy either. Prime rib, tortellini carbonara, the secretive 2 mushroom chicken Marsala......all are phenomenal. The service--has been a treat every time. Go twice and they know your name....a real down home style feeling, and very welcoming and comforting. In short....the place is small, but not claustrophobic, quant and makes you feel like your at your grandmothers place back in a Brooklyn brownstone....I expect to walk in one day and see homemade ravioli on a tablecloth. This place really is a hidden gem in Brick.....it's a BYOB, so bring a bottle and an appetite, cause you will eventually leave to go home....but you won't leave hungry.
