The service is pretty nasty - no smiles or anything pleasant. You would think the staff was serving pizza in prison! Meanwhile its right on the boardwalk - most people are happy to be near the Ocean but not at Joey Tomatoes. Skip this place and get some real pizza elsewhere. it will give you a headache to eat here.

However, while I have no issue with the food I now am concerned with the overall management. On Sunday September 2nd a fight between the manager and customer started when a customer complained he had not received a food item he had prepaid. The manager asked the customer to leave and the customer refused. Instead of contacting the police, the customer and manger argued while another customer became involved in a shouting match with profanity shouted by all. My 11 year old daugher became frigthened and we rushed to leave the restaurant. I have no idea of the final outcome but I will not return to the restaurant.
