We heard about the live entertainment, but it turned out that since it was so late, the singer had gone home. The owner then called a friend of his to come and sing for the duration of our dinner. Not only did we come in late and they stayed open for us, but they had more than accomidated us.

I realize that is frequently done for parties greater than six, which was the case with us. What was disturbing was that the amount was added amongst the list of entrees,intentionally hidden, not on the bill in the space reserved for the tip. Had I not seen the gratuity addition, the tip would have amounted to 38%. Good work if you can get it.
