Four bad reviews and one Brickette who "knows" the owner. Bad reviews speak for themselves. Due Amici is over priced, food is over rated, service is non - existent. If you want great Italian food - drive to the city - you will spend as much here and not be happy with your dinner. Everyone knows its Sopranos by the Shore - a total rip off and a joke. Fake Al Pacino look alike waiters. No women work at Due Amici. A Boys club. This place is not a fine dining experience!!

First off, You people all have no idea what you're talking about. You're those cheap whiney people that have no class and are impatient in restaurants. Yes the tables are close together.. but thats how its supposed to be. I went to this place when it was first open and no liquor license Years ago. And I still go now. The food is great. Huge portions. You will not go home hungey. Great service. The owner / family is extrememly accomadating and pleasant, and welcoming. Artichokes appetizer is great. Salads are large portioned and really good fresh. dinners are very flavorful I get the chicken or filet oreganato sometimes. Another time I had veal saltimbocca excellent. Desserts were very good. Wine was very good. I never had a problem with water there. sorry. Theres always a complainer in the bunch. Everyone I know that has been there loves it.

Due Amici seems like a nice place when you walk in with the piano and fireplace but thats where it stops. The menu is nothing exciting and the prices are high since there is a true lack of quality. Once the waiter brings your food and a very soggy salad you wont see him again. Our waiter grinded pepper all over my appetizer even though i said "No Thanks" since they don't listen to the customers and really dont care. Good luck getting a glass of water or another drink. Due Amici is not a good place to go! Keep your money and hit Mickey D's - you will have a much nicer dinner, be treated like a person and enjoy better food and service.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY THIS PLACE IS! Horrible service, everyone who works there is so arrogant and nasty. The food is nothing great at all but the prices are insanely expensive. For what? My boyfriend hated it too. Really tight tables, no room, you have to wait forever for service and when the waiter or busboy finally show up at your table, they are SO mean. Its not worth it. They don't get the order right, there are no side dishes to the dinners unless you pay extra, and the salad they give out is garbage on a plate. The dessert tray looks so old and pathetic and its all the same tired thing. Don't waste your time or money at this crummy place. Go somewhere nice instead.

sooo bad on so many levels and very pricey food is drenched in sauces. bartender doesnt know how to make simple basic drinks but they charge 8 bucks. nasty snotty waiters and very slow service. they never ask if everything is ok and the bread is served BURNT. dont waste your time and especially dont waste your money since it will be a LOT for a bad boring nite.

had dinner thursday nite at Due Amici's Brielle; went early the person in charge verh accomedating let us feel comfortable; food was good; service terrible and mistakenly left a hefty tip; was a big mistake on my part; the waiter was extremely nervous; tripping on all his reading of specials;reae them so fast could not understand him., he was extremely nervous and not too polite... forgot to give us a regular menu to order from; we had to ask, water was served once and we were dried out even though we had one glass of wine which was fine.....don't think we will go back because don't want that same waiter....
